PT. Dinamika Kapuas is one of the world largest breeders of Asian Arowana (Scleropages Formosus). We focus on producing the highest quality of Asian Arowana to meet the demand of Arowana hobbyists all around the world.

Asian Arowana is highly endangered and therefore they are protected by CITES (Convention on International Trade In Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora) since 1980. By being able to breed them in captivity and releasing a certain percentage of our production back to their habitat, we believe that we are helping to prevent the extinction of this species.

Founded in 1986 in West Kalimantan, we started with 3 breeding ponds. Today we have more than 60 breeding ponds and 10,000 parents stocks. Given that transportation to the breeding farm is not very convenient for our clients which 90% are based internationally, on October 2000, we opened a showroom in Sentul, Jakarta to provide better services to our clients.

The types of Asian Arowana that we breed are Red Arowana, Indonesian Red Tail Golden, Banjar or Yellow Arowana and Green Arowana. Besides Asian Arowana, we also breed other types of ancient fishes, such as Jardini Arowana (Scleropages Jardini), Arapaima Gigas, South American Stingrays. Furthermore to provide wider products selection, we export and import quality fresh water ornamental fishes.
